Pierre-Olivier Dittmar
A lecturer at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), his research focuses on the interfaces between humans and other forms of life throughout the long Middle Ages, whether animals, invisible beings, or artefacts. He has notably co-authored and co-edited Image et transgression au Moyen Age, Le monde roman par delà le bien et le mal, and Matérialiser les désirs. Techniques votives. His latest book, L’invention de l’animal, was published in 2026. |

Gregoire Prangé
Grégoire Prangé is Head of the raw prospective programme, publications and research at LaM, Lille Métropole Museum of Modern, Contemporary and Outsider Art, and a SACRe PhD candidate at ENS-PSL, where he continues his research on agency and systems of value in contemporary art. At the museum, he has been involved in curating numerous exhibitions, including Jessy Razafimandimby, l’incidence au bel étage (2026), Marisa Merz, écouter l’espace (2024), and Anselm Kiefer, la photographie au commencement (2023). |
